Perhaps the best running back in the state of Florida you’ve never heard of is Sarasota’s Mike Ford. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder had a phenomenal senior season rushing for 2,836 yards and 37 touchdowns on 356 carries. He averaged a whopping 236.3 yards per game leading Sarasota to a 10-2 record.
